Mac Mail

I just cannot get Mail running again after it failed ("crashed").

It was all working normally until I was advised to update Safari due to 'Security Issues'. I did that and now the Mail stopped working completely.

I can only Get or Send Mail messages in my ISP (Virgin Media) account, where I can use it like a normal mail service.

I've also tried using System Preference to Delete then add it as a new mail - no luck, I get as far as in this screenshot:

But I keep clicking on the blue 'Next' button and nothing happens!

Please help me to sort this problem out.

Thank you.

Just yet ANOTHER black mark against Apple!

If Apple's Mail app was not working correctly there would be thousands of posts similar to yours complaining that Mail does not work. This is not the case. I suspect you are doing something with your Mail, network, ISP configuration, etc. that is causing issues. So the "black mark" against Apple as you describe in this case just is not so.
