iTunes could not connect to this iPhone. You do not have permission.

Hey I'm running the laster MacOS 10.12.6 and I have the iTunes version 12.8. When I tried to connect my new iPhone max to iTunes I get a error saying "iTunes could not connect to this iPhone. You do not have permission". I'm not sure how to over come this. Please can any tell me how to fix this issue?

Hello ashwinpro,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. I understand you're unable to connect your new iPhone to iTunes.

I have a link here that should directly address this. Check it out the steps here, and they should help you resolve the issue: If your iOS 12 device isn't recognized by iTunes, you might need to upgrade macOS or iTunes.

I hope this helps get you up and running!

Take care.
