Updating AMD drivers in Bootcamp

Hello, I've read through the article on https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208908 describing how to update bootcamp drivers for AMD. However, does this include the Radeon Pro 560X 15” MacBook Pro? I’ve attempted to install, but I’m met with “Error 182 – AMD Installer Cannot Properly Identify the AMD Graphics Hardware” and does not reinstall, only uninstalling the current AMD Adrenaline (17.10). My only guess is this is only valid for the updated Vega GPU lineup. My solution was to delete my bootcamp partition and re-install windows since I attempted this in the early stage of setting up windows to restore the previous drivers. Thank you.

I was more or less curious for those who may not want to go through as many steps in order to get their latest drivers and/or scared from the AppleCare disclaimer, and if this was more so an oversight on Apple's part in the documentation. For me personally, it's proven nearly impossible for me to login to safe mode as I use Microsoft's 2 factor authentication app to login, and I use a password manager, so I've not once had to type it in even on windows setup (just tapping the number to approve), and when I did, had failed, including the app password through Microsoft's security page. And not to change the subject, I will be getting an eGPU perhaps in a week to see if Nvidia will work (and Vega 64 or Navi next year if not) in bootcamp so it's not a deal breaker or anything.
