Rather than signing in first thing and then seeing one's name to reach "manage subscriptions" which allows for the filtering of categories into: authored, participating, all, etc. Now, unless I am mistaken one takes this route: go to 'Apple Discussion Communities' > by filling in the search tab > goes to log-in > logging in and then

posting at 'create a new post' > one's name appear next to the post > clicking one's name (at the bottom of what appears there is a tab 'view profile')> in profile at the

top are the choices: 'profile' and 'manage subscriptions' > clicking 'manage subscriptions' the symbol for 'filter' is there and clicked appear the choices: authored, participated, following, etc.

Manage subscriptions is for me as a learner a very helpful tool but:

Is this really the new (and only) way to reach 'manage subscriptions'?

(Would like to put this in bold to make my question more obvious

and summarized, but in this same month of Dec 2018, that option

seems to not be available today.)

The newly added camera icon in the lower left corner of the 'ask the

community' space when I click it goes to Finder on my computer

(Mojave 10.14.2, Safari 12, MacBook Air mid 2013).

One thing I really like about the new design of this message board is

the efficiency, that when you ask a question you automatically receive an email, if

there is a reply to the question.

An 'Apple Discussion' tips for users that would include the new 'entry process'

(and the simplest one if what I describe is not this) would be appreciated.
