IPad Pro 2018 misses certain key presses on the virtual keyboard

When I type on my 2018 iPad Pro virtual keyboard I experience not having certain key presses entered. The ‘g’ key is especially bad but I see the same effect with other keys. The key press will sound a click and darken as expected but the character does not get entered. It is especially bad with the keys in the center of the keyboard. Sometimes it takes up to three tries to get the key press accepted.

Run iOS beta software on your brand new and very expensive iPad Pro at your own risk and peril to your iPad.

Personally, I would not do this with a new and expensive device that I use everyday to work on client and personal projects.

Also, realise once you have done this, you can no longer participate here with questions about the iOS Beta 12.2.

You will have to rely on the public beta developer community instead to ask questions and solve issues.

You will be effectively done here until Apple “officially” releases iOS 12.2 to the general public, which may or may not be by the end of this month.

Have you tried iOS 12.2 beta? For me the issue went away completely with iOS 12.2 public beta 1.
