Surface keyboard or other ergonomic keyboard options.

I have tried everything to find a keyboard that works with a Mac and isn't designed to destroy my hands in the process, but it seems like Apple sets up roadblocks at every step to prevent that from happening. Why why why won't Apple either a) allow third party keyboards like the Microsoft Surface keyboard to pair with their products, or more preferably DESIGN ONE THAT DOES!?!?!? It's just amazing to me that for all of the quality products and the far superior performance of the machines themselves it's something as simple as an ergonomic keyboard isn't available one way or the other, it's driving me crazy and it's destroying me physically! If anyone has any solutions to a workaround in terms of getting a Microsoft surface keyboard to pair or something else please let me know!

I have searched and searched and did see the Kinesis options but they seemed a bit too radical (and expensive). Others seem like they stole the buttons from the 1990s or just were too unwieldily. I found reviews for the Surface that made it sound like the best option (and it is really a nice comfortable design) but alas did not see the specifics about not working with Mojave. But anyway, thanks again.
