What happened to list of installed App on my iPhone in iTunes

I upgraded from OS Mavericks to High Sierra a couple months ago. I then upgraded to iOS 12.x. Which, gave me a window in iTunes when I first connected to back up after the upgrade that my apps were now in the iTunes library or something to that effect. When it finishes opening no line for "Apps" like images, music, and all the other useless entertainment things. So how do I now rearrange Apps I want to see on each page or delete Apps I no longer need or want? Furthermore I now have XR. Do I just make a leap of faith the installed apps on the old phone will magically show up if I click restore? I'm tired of looking through useless "support" articles one after another.

iTunes no longer restores apps directly, though it does restore the data. You cannot rearrange the apps in iTunes either.

Apps will download over Wi-Fi when you do an iTunes restore. I did this about a month ago and all my apps came back as expected.

Well, duh just stumbled on to the answers I've been looking for... Sorry to those who've been screaming hey stupid just lightly tap the app and tap the subsequent "x" to delete or drag it to where you want after it starts to jiggle. Then re-synch I s'pose. Never used that option on any of my previous iPhones before.
