Why does a small uncloseable Facebook tab open in Safari 12.0.2 whenever I open a new tab?
It's on the far left of the window, a small square Facebook logo that's a tab but without the "x" to delete it. How do I get rid of it?

THANK YOU! I don't know how it got "pinned"--I certainly didn't do it knowingly--but grateful to get it gone and never would have figured it out on my own. I appreciate your fast and accurate reply, and good on ya. :)
Either control - click on it and select Unpin tab or click it to highlight it, then try Safari/Window/Unpin tab. Then close the tab normally.
You are welcome.
