Do I need GeForce GT 750m drivers on Mojave?

Fcpx and Photoshop have been running very slow after my upgrade to Mojave. Asking to Apple Support they confirmed that Nvidia didn't update their driver. So they recommended me to downgrade to High Sierra.

But maybe the problem is that I have installed CUDA and a default Nvidia driver on my system.

Should I try uninstalling both of them?

I also am aware of the nvidia apple wars currently going on and that Apple is trying to promote their Metal solution. Seeing that I cant even upgrade the Nvidia driver due to Apple not allowing this right now, is there going to be a problem if I were to purchase FCP X and the drivers are not updated? Or should I downgrade to High Sierra? I have some 3D editing I need to work on with FCP X

2013 iMac NVIDIADriver I have a late 2013 27" iMac. 32 GB RAM. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M video card, 4GB VRAM. I recently had the drive wiped and they did a fresh reinstall of Mojave. All data was then migrated from my backup. I now do not have the option of choosing the NVIDIA web driver over the Mac OS driver. It's greyed out in the control panel. Some applications I use in video work are misbehaving a bit. Could this be related? NVIDIA has dropped support and drivers appear to be no longer available. I did find a site with what appears to be the last available, but for High Sierra. Solutions?

final cut pro x 10.4.7 on nvidia GT 750m macbook? Hello people. I have a macbook late 2013 with a Nvidia Geforce GT 750M 2gb. I'm using High Sierra since new OS versions do not support nvidia drivers. If I update to Catalina and use default driver, Can I expect slower performance of final cut pro X? Many thanks! Pablo

I run Mojave on my 2014 rMBP, which has the same GeForce 750M.

I have no problem using FCP X with it.

I have not installed the CUDA driver or the "web driver" from NVIDIA site.

I just use whatever driver comes with the OS.
