Formatting a USB flash drive for use in Bootcamp

Hello I am using Mojave OS and am trying to install a windows partition but when I try to create a Dos FAT usb drive I cannot change any setting to make a MBR as there is no option for it in the drop down menu.

Also if I create the MS-Dos (fat) usb drive then try to partition it I cannot change from GUID as again there is no option for MBR.

You cannot select MBR in Format list. Exit the format drop down, and click on the Scheme which says GUID Partition Map. What are the available values in the scheme. We can also format it in Terminal, if you post the output of

diskutil list

Also, see Partition a physical disk using Disk Utility on Mac - Apple Support and the section under Erase and repartition a device - Step 4.
