Restrictions are too strict

I typed the word "asian" on my son's phone, which I put restrictions on, and it said "Access Restricted." I tried it again, using the word in a sentence, and it came up restricted. Also, the word "hot" is resticted. I couldn't look up hot pockets or hot dogs. Please, Apple fix this; it is absolutely ridiculous.
