I am trying to sync my old iTunes music from an old iPod to iTunes then sync my new iPod to iTunes. When i try to sync the old iPod to iTunes a lot of my music doesn’t transfer. I have tried everything i can think of and now i may have accidentally erased all the music from my old iPod is there a way to recover that music as well?

Its a one way sync - itunes to Apple devices, not apple device to itunes.
You music should already be in your itunes media library. You would just need to sync your new ipod to itunes to transfer that music over.
