This pop up window appears every time I go to a particular news website, and does not allow me to do anything except press the close button which then directs to a phony looking gift card website. I have deleted history, block pop ups, etc.. Any help would be appreciated.

If you are only getting it on the one website it may be an issue with their actual site, not your iPad. Have you also got an iPhone and/or iPod Touch, and if so does it have the same problem on that site ?

You've cleared Safari's cache and history, closed Safari via the iPad's taskbar, and rebooted the iPad ?
Yes, have done all of these and just restarted the iPad. The pop up box is still appearing.
That didn’t work either, even tried to reset all contents and setting on my iPad and start over. Still getting the pop up on just this one news website.
If the news site in question happens to be Fox news, there are several reports of malicious pop ups today.
