Popups in Safari

Question

Popups in Safari

Struggling with a popup from "gifts-for-free.ga" whenever I am on the Seattle Times website. I have updated software, and apps are up to date. I have deleted history, deleted data, popup blockers are on. I have restarted the phone. None of the things in the popup blocker section of the support or online support from Apple have helped. Is this a new issue for other people as well?

I assume that it is Safari on an iPhone not on a Mac. If this is the case try this an check if it help you with your problem. Go to "Settings", look for "Safari", there go to the end where it says "Advanced", then "Website Data" and then will show you the data from different sites, at the end "Remove All Website Data". Maybe this will help you get rid of your problem. Good Luck.
