Hello,
I am writing in because I am having trouble syncing my iPhone X Max to iTunes for some odd reason. Below are a few specs for the devices in question. The issue is I cannot get the phone to sync via wireless network or plugged into the laptop.Am i missing something that is keeping it from synching.

I had a feeling I forgot to list everything needed to assist. The current version is 12.8.0.150
could it be that I’m running off of MacOS El Capitan? But I see some troubleshooting steps for this OS but nothing works. Thank you so much for the help right now
you don't display the iTunes version but you should be using no less than 12.8
make sure you unlock the iPhone initially
