App won’t update

I cannot get a few apps to update. They want my Apple ID password to an old email that I don’t have any longer. I am not finding how to update that on these specific apps. What do I need to do?

Apple has totally missed the boat again with ID and email iPad 6. Currently updated. It is November 25, 2021: I have several apps looking for updates. I click on one and it asks me to sign in with my password but it is showing an email I haven’t used for 6 years. I dealt with this a way long time ago. And I am signed into my Apple account on the iPad with the correct email. Duh. So how can I update apps when Apple is totally screwed up by somehow using the old email?

unable to update the apps The required email is an old email that i used to use I created a new apple ID but now the old email’s password is required I tried logging out and in again in my new apple ID but it didn’t work [Image Edited by Host to Remove Personal Information]

Help with an update Hi, I’m trying to update an App and it shows an old email, but when I go to my Apple ID settings it has my new email. I don’t know how to get rid of the old email so I can update my App. It will not accept my password because it’s with an old email. On my iPhone. Thx any suggestions?

If you can't remember the iTunes account's password : If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support

If you want t the apps linked to a different account delete them and buy and download them on that account
