Does an old Magic Trackpad work with 2018 Mac mini?

Awaiting delivery of my new 2018 Mac mini - I'm guessing there's no issue with using my old Magic Trackpad with it, but wanted to ask if anyone else is using that. You don't NEED to shell out $150 for the new one, right?

Apple still sells those for $129, but there's a newer Magic Trackpad that only comes in black for $149. Is there anything that was improved in the new black model that should make me consider buying one? Old trackpad compatible with the new iMac? I'm looking to buy a new iMac, but don't want to buy a new track pad if my old one will still work with it. My trackpad was bought in 2009, will it work with the new Mac?

It is Bluetooth and will work.
