Maximum Wattage that an iphone can accept?

Just trying to find out the maximum wattage that an iphone x will accept. Let’s say that I’m using a 30W power adapter. I know an iPhone won’t probably use the full 30W but what’s the limit?

iPhone X

Hello Saadmnr,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!

I understand from your post that you would like to know the maximum wattage that an iPhone X will accept for charging. The supported maximum wattage which would be fast charge compatible with your iPhone X would be an 87W USB-C Power Adapter. The following article will provide you with additional information about the wattages and adapters that can be used with your iPhone X:

Best Regards.
