AU plugins not working (MT PowerDrumKit)

Hi! I downloaded MT PowerDrumKit AU and VST plugins, then I installed as per the instructions and the files are in their respective Plug-Ins/Component and Plug-Ins/VST folders. AU plugins are not working for Logic Pro X/GarageBand and VSTs are not working either for Audacity. Any hints?

Plugin showing in plugin manager, but not in au instruments- logic pro X Hi, I downloaded XLN audio plugin RC20, and it seems to have downloaded it correctly, because the plugin shows up inside the plugin manager and says that it passed the AU validation. However, it does not show up in the drop down menu of AU instruments, I cannot find where this plugin lives in logic. Why is it not showing up? Ive downloaded one other plugin (output arcade plugin) and it worked fine, but this one seems to not work... I have tried: -"Reset & rescan selection" in plugin manager -Deleting the audio unit cache file in the cache folder in the MacOS library then restarting my computer. -Deleting the .vst file from components, and reinstalling the plugin fresh I am using a 2012 Macbook pro running catalina and Logic 10.4.7 Any ideas? Should I delete logic and reinstall? Help please!! Thanks :)

New AU plugin not showing up in Logic Pro X Hey, I recently downloaded the free version of Auburn Sounds' "Graillon 2". It says that it is available as 64 bit VST2, VST3, AAX, and Audio Unit plug-in for Windows and macOS. So the issue shouldn't be that. I installed it, quit and reopened Logic multiple times, still doesn't show up under Audio Units. I even went to the Plugin Manager under Preferences and hit Reset and Rescan Selection which is what I normally do when this occurs, and yet it still won't appear. I even went into my Library folder to check that the vst's had been placed in the folders correctly and they had been. So as far as I can tell, everything should be normal, and my plugin should be appearing. Does anyone know if I did something wrong, or if there's a detail I missed...?

Plugins not being recognized by Logic X I can't add plugins to Logic X by placing the AU/VST into their respective folders anymore. I am trying to add some new plugins for Logic X (specifically from Airwindows) by manually putting the Audio Unit directly into the Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components folder. I am aware there is more than one folder called this, but this is the one where all of my other AU are and where I used to be able to add new AU. I have tried clearing the audio unit cache to force a rescan by Logic. Logic doesn't even see them to scan them. So obviously, they don't show up in plugin manager either. Strange enough, they do appear and work in Garageband, so the plugins do work. Logic X just refuses to acknowledge them. As a test, I downloaded some other free plugins that had installers (a valhalla reverb and something else), and after the installation, their AU components were in the proper folder, and Logic X was able to see and scan them. I manually drop a different AU into the folder, nothing. Any ideas how to get this resolved? Thanks!

Sometimes restarting the computer after installing AU / VST components may help.
