Can a tech from Apple store help me find what was my Apple ID

I created an email and password for my nephew three years ago, the iPad had some trouble and it had to be reset. The problem is that they never wrote down the information (email/password) created and know we can’t restore the iPad! I need the email used to reset password so he can start using the iPad again. I’ve been told that if we bring the iPad to an Apple store a tech can recover it. I have proof of purchase. Can they help me ? Nearest store for me is two hours drive and before driving I need to know that they can help. I tried calling no answer.

Failing that, try this form: https://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html and select 'Account Security' from the first pop-up menu. Either way you will be asked to prove your identity.

I would assume you used some other email to set it up or as a contact email. You probably aren going to have to take it to a Store (make an appointment) but try the contact link first if you haven't already.

we have the proof of purchase, and I will try to fill out the contact info on that link. I just hope they can restore it there, I didn’t know I have to make an appointment but thank for telling me!!

You don't have to make an appointment but if you don't you may find yourself with a long wait.

First thing to try: go to https://iforgot.apple.com to retrieve the ID and reset the password.

Thanks, I have tried that. The iPad only show me the first letter of the email we used and we don’t know it.

Try the contact form. You may still end up having to take it to an actual Apple Store, together with the original purchase documents and some ID (the person who actually bought it needs to go).
