Apple TV not displaying HEIC files

iTunes - Home Sharing - Choose folders to share with Apple TV, I am sharing a folder with about 3,000 photos.

When viewing photos on my ATV, I have 689 photos. After some troubleshooting, it appears as if only my JPG and PNG files are available to view on my ATV, HEIC file are not showing on my ATV.

I know that the HEIC files have some windows compatibility issues but since I am sharing them through iTunes to my ATV, I guess I don't understand why they won't display.

I really don't want to go through a whole HEIC to JPG conversion so is there any other setting that I am missing here?
