Web Pages Shift Over To The Left Side While Browsing In Safari.

I am having an annoying problem while I surf the Web using my iPad Air 2. Intermitently and thank God, only once in a while, when a page opens it shifts to the left and I can no longer read the entire page. I must perform a hard reboot to correct this issue, using both power and app. switch buttons until the Apple logo reappears.

This problem began while I was using my unit in Italy in September. I do not recall the IOS version in use at the time, but anyway my unit was running on the most up to date version. I thought that this was due to using an English version of Google Italy, but am experiencing the same issues here in Canada.

I cleared the History, re-initiated my Internet connection, and have even made a complete reset of my unit, since the initial steps I took did not solve my problems. I am still having issues and need a permanent solution. Any Ideas?

Just a bit more info. I see the shifting issue typically when using the top Bookmark button that slides in the bookmark list from the left hand side of the screen. The width of my screen shift I outlined above is the same width as the bookmark window that slides in. Usually when I slide in the bookmark menu, the webpage resizes into the smaller screen width, but I am finding that sometimes it is not resizing. And when I have the issue, the left shifted portion of the screen is just this Width of the bookmark menu. Sometimes this resize process seems to resize just that portion of the screen not under the bookmark menu... I will try to get some screen shots.

I am having the same issue on my iPadPro. When navigating websites, sometimes the Safari browser seems to shift about 1/3 of the screen width to the left, so then I can’t see the left 1/3 of the page and have a big white space on the right side of the screen. I, too, have tried reboots, resets, etc but the issue will return. It has been happening this evening and I was somehow able to get it to go back to normal by navigating around to different pages, changing from landscape to portrait, really just poking in the dark, and it finally “reset” back to the proper full screen view. I have only noticed this in IOS12. I think it happens a lot on MSN.com as the initial problem, but then stays that way as I move to other pages. Very, very annoying.... Hopefully the cause can be found and fixed. I am on the latest IOS 12.1.1 version, but has been happening for the last month or so, so not unique to this latest update.
