2017 iMac not connecting via ethernet cable to the internet

I've gone through multiple procedures suggested in the posts, but nothing has remedied the issue. First off, I have a 27" iMac running High Sierra 10.13.6. WiFi works fine on all of my devices. With ethernet cable plugged in all I get is the IP Address and Subnet Mask. Everything else is blank. I've had the same issue with my early 2008 Mac Pro, but with several reboots I was able to connect. No luck with the iMac. I'm wondering if I need to replace my router or do I have to go to my SP and have them rest something?

Thank you.

Most likely a router issue, if you haven't already try new Ethernet cables and reset (not just a restart) the router. If you still have issues, try another router.
