ipod Support Service is not installed

iTunes will not recognize my iPod touch. I have uninstalled iTunes and still get this error message when I run Diagnostics.

classic ipod i am using classic ipod.. its showing me error to log in apple.com/support/ipod.. its not getting started. how can i make it work again?

I am having the same issue . My iPod is recognized in my HP computer but does not show up in my iTunes.
