iPad mini II
Has anyone else become frustrated at the lack of quality or accountability for substandard products or service?
I just had a very polite genius bar worker (Dean) attempt to assist me with an issue that has occurred on my previous iPad mini II. His suggestion was to replace the item, like I did 2 years ago. This time I was informed that the price would be twice the amount that it was the first time I had this hardware issue, (sound like a pattern?). Then I was informed by the "Team Leader" (who's name I don't remember), that I received a deal 5he first time the hardware failed and that they weren't going to compound the mistake by replacing the faulty item for a mere $100. Why would I pay $200 now to replace something that originally cost $450, plus $100 for the first replacement that was only good for two years, and another $200 for from what I can only assume from my previous experience will be for another 2 years? Is the iPad mini II worth $750? Maybe I'm in the wrong frame of mind, but my daughters's iphone7 just went out of service for what was explained to her by Apple genius staff as another hardware issue, (again with no offer of replacement). I'm not very impressed by Apple as of late and the apparent planned obsolescence of their products is maddening. Anyone fed up with this lack of quality?
