kindle app for older iPad

i have an older iPad Mini using v9.3.5. I would like to use this iPad to read Kindle books. But itunes says that v10 is required for what currently is in the store.


how can i get the older kindle app using v 9?

If amazon support the downloading of older compatible versions of their apps try downloading it on a different device (or computer's iTunes if you haven't updated to iTunes 12.7+) so that it's in the account's purchase history, and then see if you can download an older version via the Purchased tab in the iPad's App Store app.


Or you could try using Amazon's Kindle cloud reader, go to http://read.amazon.co.uk (if you are here in the UK) in Safari and save it as a homescreen shortcut
