iTunes not synching ringtones from Online

I downloaded some ringtones into iTunes. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT207955 Shows that you should copy the tracks and paste them into the "tones" section of your iphone on itunes. That is not working.

Ringtone on my iPhone In its infinite wisdom, Apple removed "Tones" from iTunes. I now have a ringtone "sitting" in "Music" on iTunes but I cannot find a way of syncing it to "Tones" on my iPhone. I would greatly appreciate advice as to how I can do this.

New Ringtones My iTunes is not accepting new ringtones for my iPhone 8+. I dropped the file into the iTunes Tones section on my PC and nothing happens. The file is under 30 seconds long and I already enabled "Manually manage music and videos". Anybody have a solution?

Ringtones without iTunes how do I put a ringtone on iphone 7 running ios 15.7 without iTunes I am running MacOS 11.7 Big Sur on a MacBook Air 13 iTunes is on the phone but not the mac. I tried connecting and then dragging and dropping but even though there was a green plus sign it would not go. Idea's?

Figured out the solution. Needed to change file type.
