Indesign CS6 64 bit?

Is Indesign CS6 64 bit? Will it run in the next version of OS X which drops 32 bit app support?

Thanks

Some of Indesign CS6 is 64-bit and some of the components of it are still 32-bit. Adobe is not going back to rebuild the entire InDesign CS6 application to make it fully 64-bit, so it will likely croak with macOS.next in Fall 2019. Your options are to keep it running on an older release of OS X, or macOS — or for a fraction of the ID replacement cost, register and download the free beta of Affinity Publisher.

Affinity does not use a subscription model, and its released applications are available through the Mac App Store as fully 64-bit solutions.

I think it premature to assume that Adobe are just going to pack up their bags and kill off a cash cow in their CS suite of applications. While it's true that not all of CS is 64-bit yet, there's still 9 months to go - an age in software development terms, even at Adobe-speed, especially since they've known this day would approach.

Of course, I don't have a crystal ball, and there's nothing wrong with looking at alternatives, but it probably is too soon to write them off completely.
