Notes gone iPhone 7 Plus

Why did my notes disappear from my device? The iCloud notes are there but my other notes have gone missing—I don’t have a recently deleted folder. I didn’t delete my notes—somehow the system did.

lost notes hello. i was trying to go through my icloud and was making some things where they did not need to be on all my devices. Well.... I clicked on Notes thinking they will stay in the devices they are already on but now ALLLL my notes from my iPhone are completely gone. Is there any way I can get those back? TIA.

Recently Deleted will appear only if you have deleted some Notes earlier.
