iPhone XR alarm sound is way too quiet

Hey guys, recently I have been sleeping thru all my alarms. Finally I woke up during one, and the sound of the alarm was so quiet that there’s no chance it could wake anyone up. I did research and I haven’t come across a single answer to help me. Yes, I know that the alarm and ringer volume is independent to the volume buttons, and in the sounds and haptics part of my settings, the ringers and alerts volume is all the way up. The regular volume is all the way up as well. Yet, my alarms are still so quiet. How do I fix this? Any help or direction is extremely appreciated.i have an iPhone XR and iOS 12.1.2

The alarm and ringer volume is only independent of the side volume buttons when in Settings > Sounds & Haptic the "Change with Buttons" option is turned OFF. Make sure this is turned off, and then adjust the volume to maximum with the slider above. Then do a forced re-start:

On the left side of your iPhone press and quickly release the Volume Up button, then immediately press and quickly release the Volume Down button.

Then, on the right side of your iPhone, press and keep holding the side power button (keep holding past the "Slide to shut down"!!) until the Apple Logo appears, then release the power button and let your phone re-boot.

One re-booted set up a new alarm for, say, 1 minute in the future, set the alarm sound to the default "Radar" and see if the volume is now loud enough. Hope this helps you! Regards, Ian.
