Hoping to fix the back screen but Apple Support said it is not fixable and need to replace a new one.
And if I agree, they will replace a new phone with lower price because I'm still under Apple Care and my this smashed phone will be sent for disposal. True?

You can't really fixed something that is smashed. If you have Apple Care+ the price is lower for a replacement. If I was in your position I would take advantage of having Apple Care.

It will be replaced with a service unit. It may be new or remanufactured. There is no way for you or anyone at the Apple Store to tell the difference.
The back glass can't be replaced due to the way they are put together. The only option is complete replacement.
