video clip sound on Aperture

I’m trying to adjust the sound of a video inserted into an Aperture slide show.

Instruction in the Help Section are as follows:

I do not see this. I only see this:

I have no way to access sound settings.

Please help.

Which version of Aperture are you using?

In Aperture 3.6 it will depend on the theme of the slideshow, which settings will be available for selected slides.

I am seeing the settings you are looking for for the "Classic" theme, but not for thePhoto Mobile theme, for example.

Hi again. I am working on Aperture 3.6. I created a project and then a slide show as a sub folder of the project. Then I moved it to slideshows.

I have chosen a theme “Vintage Prints” with a sound track. I then have a video pop up in the slideshow and need it to increase in volume whilst the slideshow music drops.

Can you please advise?

I’m not an expert with this programme, so any advice will be appreciated.

The themes "Ken Burns" and "Classic" are the only themes, where you can adjust the sound of the video as described in your screenshot.
