The preview of the clip and the audio track disappear

Hello. Often when I edit a video it happens that after a cut (arrow in the photo), the preview of the clip and the audio track disappear. To fix this I just have to pause and restart, but it always happens so it gets annoying after a while. Do you know how to solve? Thank you!

If it redraws when the playback stops, then that is expected behavior.

Now, you CAN change this, and have it redraw while playing.

There is a great free utility, CommandPost, that is able to do that, and more. I recommend that you try it.

It is useful not just with FCP, but especially with it. It can easily change some preferences that are not directly available through FCP's GUI.
