Mixing 60p and 50p on same timeline

I always shoot my movies with my JVC videocamera with 50 p. Now I want compact camera Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark II as a second camera. But only shhots in 60p. I live in PAL land. Can I mix 50 p and 60 p in the same timeline in FCPX ? The still camera shoots in H-264 format I think.

Yes.

The first clip entered to a New Project Timeline will set the properties for that Project unless you created a Custom Project.

If you first drop in a 50p clip, it's setup to 50p, all other clips will be forced to those settings.

If you have Compressor you could conform the 60p to 50p then Import in the correct format.

This would be my 1st option.
