how to connect apple tv to wifi

I had my appletv to a wifi network called green that I configured on when my appletv remote worked.

I got rid of the green network router and now I need to connect the appletv to the new wifi network. However I can't because without the appletv being on a wifi I can't use my phone as the remote.

When I plug in the ethernet on the back of the appletv I can indeed control it using my iPhone but when I go to general > network I just see ethernet config options, never do I get wifi network option. What can I do?
