Spectrum is wrong. I’m on Spectrum with 5G, no problems. This is 9.7 iPad Pro released by Apple in 2016. Never heard iPads needed “adjusting.” What is going on with your iPad Pro, too slow connecting to WiFi, how many devices is on your home WiFi? In your ipad: Settings> General > Reset > Reset Network Settings?
The model is MLMN2LL/A, this is my home Wi-Fi. Spectrum says some iPads need to be adjusted to accept 5G, they said to check with Apple for what I need to do??
That's a polite way of saying "I have no clue what's wrong... ask someone else". Are you using the latest firmware on the WiFi router? My iPad Air 1st gen connects to 5GHz network very quick. There has never been a problem connecting over 5GHz freq and no, it doesn't need Apple "adjustment" either.
What do you mean doesn’t seem to work well Apple iPad? What kind of iPad you have, this Spectrum 5G, is it home, or work WiFi?

I've been on Spectrum for years, and haven't experienced any issues with any iPad or iPhone on 5Ghz ever.
I never said I had problems with Spectrum 5G, it's all okay. To the OP, are you having WiFi issues with only your iPad Pro, everything else?
Sorry, since the forum changed format, I accidentally replied to you, when I meant to reply to the OP.
