Muted my Ipad, yet can still faintly hear the video I was watching

This is not app specific. While watching a video on the aloha browser fully muted (ringer and everything off, do not disturb mode on, etc), I could still hear the video faintly. I downloaded a few videos to the default photo/video viewing app on the Ipad, and they still were able to be heard on mute. Can anyone help me or is this a software issue?

FYI, I bought my Ipad a few months ago, so an old Ipad is not the issue here.

No audio on iPad I occasionally had no audio on my iPad for videos in the past but eventually got it working. Tonight I don’t get any. I’ve unchecked the mute button in some videos but still none. I’ve used the volume buttons on the side but when I raise the volume to max it immediately goes back down to zero according to the scale on the screen. Same thing happens when I swipe down from the top of the screen to bring up the consoles. Increase the volume to max and it immediately goes down to zero. This is happening with YouTube and Facebook. Maybe in other sites. Any suggestions?
