Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

This device is linked to another Apple ID

Got my replacement phone from Asurion through the Verizon insurance. I paid extra to get a “new” phone.

Once I received, I Restored from my Apple MacAir backup.

And moved the SIM card.


Everything else seems like normal.

EXCEPT for this ominous, mysterious and scary message. See the picture attached.


I simply have been taping on cancel as I do not know what is going on. I suspect this device was previously owned and used by somebody and my account may actually get cross linked!!!!


APPLE LIMBO LAND - NOT GOOD APPLE!


Any one have a suggestion??

View and remove your associated devices in iTunes - http://support.apple.com/HT204074 - Read the part at the end where it refers to the 90 day wait. This applies to re-downloading past purchases (you can make new purchases), automatic downloads, and iCloud based services such as Family Sharing, Match, and Apple Music.
