I received a facetime call that the owner did not make but it seems that the iPhone itself is capable of calling another person on its own.

Can somone tell me something about taht?

Answered on other device Hello, I woke up this morning and noticed it looked like I FaceTimed somebody in my contacts twice. I did not FaceTime this person at all yesterday and when I click the more info part it shows this call was answered on another device. Missed FaceTime call that I never made My friend got 6 missed FaceTime calls from my number in the mid-night when I was sleeping (every hour from 2-8am). I never made those call and no FaceTime record on my phone. I wonder if my phone or his phone got hacked. I checked and no email notification saying that my Apple account logged in to any new device. anything else I should do to ensure my phone or my Apple ID are safe? thanks

No, the phone is not capable of making a FaceTime call on its own. The caller had to initiate the call, whether intentionally or accidentally.
