Bluetooth headphones don't pair with MacBook Pro

I have a mid 2014 MacBook Pro running MacOS Mojave 10.14.2 and it won't pair with my Optoma BE Sport4 Bluetooth headphones. It won't pair with a Roverbeats T3 external speaker either. It pairs fine with my Apple Magic Mouse and Magic Keyboard. Both audio devices pair fine with my iPhone X running iOS 12.1.2. Is this me, or an Apple limitation?

Hello jack1949,

Thanks for asking the Apple Support Communities for help with pairing your headphones and speaker to your Mac computer.

It's possible the devices were still paired to another device, and unable to pair with the computer. You mention that they were paired to your iPhone. I recommend trying to unpair them from the iPhone, and then trying to pair them with the Mac.

This article has the steps to unpair them with the iPhone: Pair a third-party Bluetooth accessory with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Then, use this article to pair with the Mac: Connect a Bluetooth device with your Mac - Apple Support

Thanks and have a wonderful day.
