When i want to go to a website on safari, it doesnt go to the webite also the bar on the top doesnt move it stays there. I have internet turn on. I rarely get this problem. I did reboot, cleared my cache and history.

Deselect Proxies, if selected.
System Preference > Network > Advanced > Proxies Tab
Unlock the lock if you have to.
Under "Select Protocol”, uncheck any box if check marked.
Click "OK" then "Apply”.

i did it. I also try to use my safari with my phone hotspot and it worked but i can’t use my wifi. Do you know what is wrong with the netwotk?
Update:I turned off bluetooth, changed the wifi channel and changed the DNS to my router, I can open some sites with decent speed but for some sites it didn’t fully load or didn’t open at all
Thank you. I can see the problem now. Something is wrong with my DNS. It told me to use googleDNS or openDNS, I tried it but I still can't use safari

1. Power off the router. Unplug it from the wall. Wait a while.
Plug it back in. Power the router on. Wait until all lights are lit properly. It will take a while.
Restart the computer.
