Buy an app as a gift from one country to another

I want to buy an app as a gift. I live in switzerland and my friend in uk why can’t i do it? Is there a way to do it?

No. You can only gift Apps if your accounts are from the same country.

A gift from a store from one country cannot be redeemed onto an account from a different country.
