purchasing iphone as a present from a foreign country

Hi,

I live in Canada and would like to purchase an iphone for my gf living in Tokyo Japan. It is a surprise Christmas present but I can't purchase it via apple store online because my credit card is from Canada.

Is there any way I can make this purchase? it is to be delivered to her address in Japan.

No, you cannot. The best thing to do is to send money. Even Apple Gift Cards cannot be used outside of the country of purchase.
