Every time I try to download and install Mojave on my computer, mid 2014 macbook pro running 10.11.6, an error pops up saying "The download is damaged or incomplete. Redownload the installer and try again." When I click OK it closes the download window and when I try again I get the message again. How do I fix this?

You may need a better internet connection. Make sure the installer is removed from the applications folder before downloading again. Also, if you have any antivirus programs, try while started in Safe Mode.

Got it working. You were right about making sure the installer was gone from the applications folder. It was just trying to re-install the same bad file. Once I deleted and started over with a new download it all worked great.
