Quick Time Player screen recording - no audio resulted?

Greetings,

I just recorded a webinar training session using QT Player's screen recording option.

The video came out fine, but there is no audio whatsoever - VERY disappointed. :-(


Is this the way it's supposed to be, or is there a feature I was supposed to select at the outset?

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you’re having issues with recording sound while recording your screen with QuickTime. You can record sound from a microphone, however you can't record sounds playing on your Mac.
