Compressor: Video rendering error: 3

Just today, I cannot render a video from FCPX to Compressor.

After approx. 20 sec., it times out and I get this:

Failed: Video rendering error: 3 (System Error = 3 {No such process}IPC Server did not respond to message<>, Server process is gone)

I had no issues working with Compressor, so something new is happening - I get same error after I restarted both apps and MacBook Pro as well - anyone figured out the cause (not a workaround)?

Using Compressor 4.4.3

FCPX 10.4.4

OSX 10.13.6

Send to Compressor not working Issue When I select 'send to Compressor' from within FCPx, Compressor launches. I then add the codec, location, and select 'begin'. The job is listed in the 'Active' window but fails to progress for 2 minutes. The job then fails, with the message 'Failed: System Error = -9074 (Unknown Error: - 9074). iMovie error 10008 I am getting a video render error when trying to share my video. Renders about 25% (approx. 7 minutes) and then gives me an error. (iMovie error 10008: renderVideoFrame failed) as written in the notification. I also noticed that the audio jumps from left to right and back again as I move the cursor up and down the timeline. The music will also disappear but come back when I click on the song next to it. If anyone can help with this it would be greatly appreciated. iMac High Sierra 10.13.2 iMovie 10.1.18 I am aware that the Mac OS is in need of an update. Not sure about iMovie

iMovie unexpectedly crashes when I try to export video. Every time I try to export a video from iMovie, it unexpectedly crashes. My mac is running on macOS Catalina 10.15.5 (up to date at this point). Are there any fixes to this problem?
