Inserting page break does not move images

Hi all,

I have an issue with pages. I’m writing a university assignment and naturally, I add or change things around. My document has a section filled with images and captions. However, I need to insert a page break between one page and the other. The issue is that, the captions move to the next page (since they are text, of course), but the images remain where they are! It’s impossible for me to drag and move around over 30 images single-handedly. I basically want the page break to work properly - for both images AND text alike.

Hope someone can help!

Hi nbar,

Place the caption in a text box (no border) .

Click on the image and shift-click on the text box to select them both.

Menu > Arrange > Group

Now they should move together.

Check out these options in Format Panel

Perhaps Object Placement > Move with Text and

Text Wrap > Above and Below will work for you.

Ian.
