Mac Sometimes Doesn't Wake Up

Hello!

I bought a 2016 MBP 13" Touch Screen last year on eBay. I love it, and have had zero issues.

With that being said, sometimes after opening the laptop up, it takes FOREVER to wake from sleeping - usually I grow impatient and force a reboot.

Does anyone have any experience with this issue?

Macbook Air 2020 screen won't wake up Hi all, I have a 3 week old Macbook Air 2020 which I think has a problem with the display. I close the lid then open it a while later the screen will not wake up unless I open and close the lid about 5 or 6 times. The keyboard lights up and if you look really close you can see its like the screen is on the lowest brightness settings. Naturally I have tried to use the brightness adjust to see if that does anything but it doesn't. I have checked updates, energy settings etc. Any help would be appreciated.

trouble waking up from sleep My fairly new MacBook Pro (Catalina) has difficulty waking up from sleep. It will flash the screen (and the monitor I have attached as well), sometimes for as long as 90 seconds! Once fully awake, it behaves fine. It behaves a little better if I actually put it to sleep, rather than let it time out, but some times it flashes even then. Even stranger, it will wake up in the middle of the night! Any ideas?

MacBook Pro Screen 'sleeps' while lid is open & Cinema Display is attached. Can't wake up the MacBook Pro screen MacBook Pro screen is 'sleeping' while lid is open, while Cinema Display works normally. How do I 'wake up' the MacBook Pro Screen? (The mouse cursor seems to move off of the Cinema Display and then disappear onto the sleeping MacBook Pro screen. In other words, the cursor doesn't stop at the edge of the Cinema Display, as it would if I had the MacBook Pro lid closed.) I normally have both screens active as a dual-screen setup. No pressing of any keys, or the trackpad, on the MacBook Pro is doing anything to 'wake' the screen. I have to restart the computer to get the screen back. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...!

It is an intermittent issue, and I'm not sure I can replicate it by using another account. I am guessing this is not a common problem?...
