I cannot make a screenshot using CMD+SHIFT+3 or CMD+SHIFT+4 since I've
updated my mac to High Sierra 10.3.6 on my imac 21.5" late 2009. I reinstall High Sierra to fix problem and that works a few days - than stops. Anyone else have this problem?
Please download and run Etrecheck It is a diagnostic tool that's very useful to us in finding problems. Also it will give us further specs on your Mac. After it runs post the log file here. It will contain no personal information.

If it worked in Safe Mode then it sounds like it may be one of your Login Items that's interfering. Go to System Preferences > Users & Groups > Login Items and remove them using the (-) button. You can always add them back using the (+) button.
Boot into Safe Mode, Mac OS X: Starting up in Safe Mode, and try the key combinations from there. If successful reboot normally and test again.
Aha! Yes, those type of apps are not recommended for Macs and will do more harm than good. No so-called cleaning apps or anti-virus junk should be installed either.

Starting in SAFE Mode worked - however, when I rebooted out of SAFE Mode I have the same problem with screen shots just being blank using CMD+SHIFT+3 or CMD+SHIFT+4.
All 3 Screen Shot Options provided are blank.
Removed Users - rebooted and still have same results with Screen Shots all being blank.
Also, are you able to make a Screenshot using Grab in your Utilities folder?
GRAB also not working.
