bypass Remote Management?

I have just installed Mojave on an external hard drive and in the setup process, I encounter a "Remote Management" screen that will not accept my Google credentials.

I cannot skip that step and going back just takes me back to the WiFi setup screen.

How do I get around this? I am also running Mojave on the Macintosh HD that the external drive is connected to, and I never got that message when configuring Mojave on the internal drive the first time.

Any advice?

I figured it out. If I decline to set up WiFi in the previous step, I am able to continue with the setup.
